Movies and TV shows streaming this week (November 25-30): The most awaited film – Risabh Shetty’s Kantara – has finally arrived on the OTT platform and as anticipated, people who had missed the film in theaters are flocking to Prime Video and it is currently trending on the platform. However, there are other big movies coming to OTT this week, including Sunny Deol’s Chupp: Revenge of the Artist, Neeraj Pandey’s super-cop drama Khakee: The Bihar Chapter, and chilling documentary series Crime Scene: The Texas Killing fields.

Chup: The Artist’s Revenge: Zee5

Release date: November 25, 2022

Sunny Deol is investigating a serial killer in Mumbai who targets film critics for their dishonest reviews. Starring Sunny Deol, Dulquer Salmaan and Shreya Dhanwanthary, while Pooja Bhatt and Saranya Ponvannan are in supporting roles, R Balki’s terrifying crime thriller is based on a new concept which may perhaps frighten the weak film critics. The film is now available to stream on Zee5.

Paradise City: Lionsgate game

Release date: November 25, 2022

Directed by Chuck Russell, Paradise City is an action thriller set on a tropical island in Hawaii. The cast includes Hollywood stars like Bruce Willis and John Travolta, as well as Stephen Dorff, Praya Lundberg and Blake Jenner. It is the last film role for Bruce Willis before his retirement due to his diagnosis of aphasia. Written by Edward Drake, Corey Large and Chuck Russell, it shows a son’s efforts to take revenge on his father’s killers.

Khakee: The Bihar Chapter: Netflix

Neeraj Pandey known for MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, Special 26 and A Wednesday brings a gritty and high-octane crime drama inspired by the life of IPS officer Amit Lodha which he documented in his book The Bihar Diaries . The rights were bought even before Amit started writing his book and Netflix bought it to stream on their platform.

It tells the courageous story of an individual who not only defied the growing anarchy in a small village in Bihar but also captured local dons. Netflix describes this long-awaited series as the story of a “fair cop” who goes after a “ruthless criminal” and faces a “moral battle mired in corruption”.

India’s official submission to the Academy Awards for Best International Feature Film, Chhello Show (Last Film Show), is finally coming to Netflix after premiering at the 20th Tribeca Film Festival and rushing to Indian cinemas. The film is about Samay, a 9-year-old boy living with his family in a remote village in India who discovers movies for the first time and is absolutely mesmerized, and who isn’t. Last Film Show is a captivating love letter to film, storytelling and living dreams. The comparison with the Cinema Paradiso is inevitable, but it manages to stand on its own, which is in itself a remarkable feat.

Alone together: HULU

Crime Scene: Texas Killing Fields: Netflix

No one does true crime documentaries like Netflix, as they’ve learned the formula for hooking their viewers and making them all ask the same questions. After the stupendous success of their previous Crime Scene docuseries like The Times Square Killer and The Vanishing at Cecil Hotel comes their brand new case: The Killing Fields of Texas.

Season 3 of Crime Scene will focus on the largely unsolved tragic murders of four young girls found in the same area, a 25-acre tract along Calder Road in League City, Texas. While the murders remain unsolved, a man refuses to give up the hunt for his daughter’s killer.
